Years ago (may be decades because when one gets older decades look as years) a lot of farmers, which were milk’s producers, dropped all their production on the lake of Maracaibo: they didn’t accept the price that the government fixed to milk and preferred to drop it but not to sale it. When you are going to buy any product: a car, a suit, food in the market, the price of the product is fixed. Even in cases of offers prices are fixed by them. Who they are? Here, in this country –but somebody told me the same happen in other countries- the prices of the primary food products are fixed by them. They fix the price of the goods you buy, they fix the price of the food you sale. I was a boy when in France had discussions about that. I think that finally some kind of subsidy, and aid, was established. The production of food is a very risk business: the climate and other uncontrollable variables can reverse the purpose fast and suddenly and can break the farmer. If the crop is great, they fix the price, if isn’t they fix the price too. Who they are?
All the manufacturing industry fixes the prices of their products, the services’ sector fixes the prices of the services, but the food makers don’t fix the product that they produce. Is it not bizarre? Is it not important that product? Why producers don’t fix the price?

FQA (Frequent Questionable Answer)
• I have a very big industrial factory. I process the food that I buy to farmers to get a processed food. I would like to buy the primary product a lot cheaper than I actually do it. How can I do it? Who they are? Paul.
Hello Paul. You can get the product even free! All you have to do is to open a new factory in some country where there is no punishment to stealers. There are a lot of countries in the 3rd, 4th and 5th worlds where you can do it. May be you can find even a 1st or 2nd world’s country with that facility. Good luck! Oops, who they are?
• Hi webmaster. We have a farmers’ syndicate and we plan to fix the price of the food. But, doing the first steps to get the goal, we have a lot of opposition from them. What can we do? Who they are? Hoffa.
Hi Hoffa, Who they are? I think you should abandon the project. If I were you, with your name, I would like to have a normal funeral at my death, with my body. Best regards.
• I’m a farmer. I would like to fix my prices. If Hoffa is going to abandon, what do you suggest? Who they are? Mike.
Hi Mike. You can fix the price any time you want. Another aspect to consider is this: are going the customer to pay that price in case is more expensive than the fixed price by them? Ha-ha!
• I’m from the group that you are asking who we are. We fix the prices because we love the power and we want to lie on the food producers. If we let the food producers realize their importance, they would take more power than the insignificant one they have today. We are not going to let them to fix the prices. Do you understand clearly that? Anonymous.
Hello Mr. anonymous (or I should say Mr. Cairo?). I understand the conclusion that you exposed, but not the reasons supporting it. Who are you?
• What if sometime the prices were fixed by them and sometimes by us? This is a democratic floating system to fix the prices. Who they are? We are the farmers. Caroline.
Hello Caroline. I think that system is very good and reflects the real life: you fix the prices of the cars sometimes and sometimes the factory does it, doesn’t it?
• Who they are? Günter.
Hi Günter, I don’ know who they are. Who they are?
You can submit a question here. I will do my best to give you a questionable answer adap.
